Time's End

The mountains in the east of Urgath, Time's End, carry their name with honour, for few know what lies beyond them, and thus many may consider it the edge of the known world. Its steep cliffs are riddled with danger and horrid creatures as old as time itself lurk between its cracks. Some scholars know that Eo doesn't end beyond these peaks, but those brave enough to explore further will likely find their end instead.

The Abyss

The path into the Abyss leads into the scorching heart of the world. This inhospitable place had once been chosen by a Fial Darg for the ritual in which the Elven Queen Cenwen would be sacrificed in order to break the spell on the evil gods of this world. How could it not be, for the flames of the Abyss burn anyone and anything that comes near - devouring them and tearing them asunder.

Draugh'Nar

Draugh'Nar is one of the only fertile regions in the east of Urgath, and as such, invaluable to the Dark Elves of Shal'Dun. They have been quick to secure a firm grasp on this region, however, their exact goals there remain unknown.

Firefangs

South of the Burning City is the realm of the Firefangs - a desolate wasteland where death lurks within every shadow. None reside in this place, and for that reason, the Fial Darg made it the hiding spot for the only weapon that posed a threat to him - the Shadow Blade, guarded deep within the land by his demonic servants.

The Stone Ships

Even before the Convocation had destroyed Eo, not many ships sailed to Urgath - even fewer to its south - which makes the cluster of small islands known as the Stone Ships even more mysterious. Perhaps the boulders protruding from the sea there resemble naval vessels, or it could be a ship graveyard of sorts - we are none the wiser - and with Eo in its current state, the truth might never see the light of day.

Nevershade Frontier

Urgath is a continent split in two, in more than one way, and so, the society of Norcine from Shal'Dun has fortified itself from any curious visitors. The Nevershade Frontier is for them what Dragh'Lur is for the Norcaine of Shal - a nigh impenetrable barrier meant to protect their way of life, and to dismay any potential threats, for there is a reason why it remained steadfast for this long, and it is proven by the corpses of those trying to tear down its walls.

The Dagger

The Dagger is a blade-shaped mountain formation piercing through the northern part of Urgath, effectively dividing the area in two. To the west, there is Urgath's deadly jungle, while heading eastward, one would step into the scorched lands dominated by the Norcaine.

Stormcleaver Rocks

The Stormcleaver Rocks are one of the few massifs existing in the western region of Urgath, splitting the swamps around it and providing some, although not much, fertile soil. As such, it is no surprise that, over the years, it has become home to many different races. The Kithar, Skergs, but also some Humans settle here, which has led to the Stormcleaver Rocks becoming uniquely diverse - but also uniquely volatile.

The Black Heart

It is more than befitting for the darkest continent of Eo to have a Black Heart in the midst of it. As far as civilized races know, naught but wildlife inhabit that place, and for that very reason, it has been shunned by most ever since settlement began on Urgath.

Sharrowdale

Within the thick swamps of Urgath, there is a black, obsidian mountain protruding through the thick foliage. The land around it is called Sharrowdale, and it is home to many marvelous, as well as wicked, creatures of Urgath. Due to its remoteness, none of the major races ever settled here - however, this also made it favorable place for those seeking to pursue their own plans in peace - far from the eyes of the curious.

The Breathing Forest

Deep within the marshes of Urgath, there is a place so imbued with evil that even many of the creatures of this sinister continent don't dare venture there. Every step through the Breathing Forest may very well be your last - if not by drawing in its swamps, then surely by the claws of its indigenous cat-people, the Kithar.

The Darkest Shore

There is a very good reason for the name of this place. Many years ago, it was the battlefield between the forces of light and those of darkness - between the Humans and the Trolls. The two groups were locked in combat, and the aftermath was nothing short of a massacre. The very few Humans who managed to escape feared this moment to their deaths - the cracking of bones ringing in their ears when they fled Urgath - the darkest of all continents.

Udat

Many may consider it a wonder that a sole human city would survive on the darkest of continents, perhaps that is why Udat's fate is shrouded in mystery. In truth, it is unknown what became of the people there after the Convocation, though considering their circumstances, one should be prepared for the worst.

Nyrmar

Shal'Dun is perhaps the largest settlement of the Norcaine on Urgath, but it is by no means the sole one. Further up north, where the barren lowlands meet the steep cliffs of Time's End is Nyrmar, a Dark Elven bastion shrouded in mystery.

Shal'Dun

During the days of old, back when the Dark Races first reached Urgath, Shal Dun was the bastion and centre of power of the Dark Elves - but those days have long since passed. Today, Shal Dun is in its most divisive state yet, with the adepts of Nor and the Crimson Empire tirelessly wrestling for supremacy inside the city. This may make them more susceptible to foes, but nevertheless, one should weigh their options well before daring to battle the Norcaine.

Mirraw Thur

Among the Dark Races, the Dark Elves are the ones known for their excessive use of slaves to do their bidding, however, they are by no means the only ones to do so. The Orc tribe hailing from Urgath, Grarg, as well as the local Trolls, use them as well - and they trade them here, in Mirraw Thur.

The Echo Swamps

It is quite uncommon for Orcs to follow the orders of a Human, but it is not unheard of. One such example were the Grarg Orcs from the Echo Swamps, acting under the command of a crazed mage by the name of Whorim. It's unknown why they followed him, though it allowed them to grow into a force to be reckoned with... that is, until they, too, were conquered by the power of the rune.

NagNag

Trolls, unlike the other Dark Races, prefer to eschew large settlements, instead choosing to live in small groups across Eo, which makes the case of NagNag even more curious. According to all known records, it is the only settlement of the trolls akin to a town. Understandably, no creatures of the light ever venture there, it's unlikely that they even could - the Trolls may be primitive and of weak spirit, but their instincts are more than enough to keep any intruders at bay.
